HGV Class 2 Lorry Driver in Omagh

*Job Located in Carrickmore* *Job Summary* We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in driving flatbed and van lorries, and possess a strong understanding of mechanical operations. This role involves transporting heavy goods safely, ensuring loads are tied down safely. *Duties* * Operate flatbed lorries for the delivery of steel kits and welded assemblies to and from sub-contractors * Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe working order. * Load and unload lorry using forklift * Communicate effectively with yard men regarding deliveries and any issues that may arise. * Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road. * Perform basic mechanical checks and maintenance on the vehicle as needed. * Keep vehicle clean and maintained * Use the van for smaller deliveries *Qualifications* * Class 2 driving licence * Driver CPC * Digital tachograph card * Experience as a Class 2 driver * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Flexibility to work varied hours If you are an experienced driver looking for a new opportunity within a dynamic team, we encourage you to apply for this position.
