A Kitchen Porter assists in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen.
They support chefs and kitchen staff by handling basic tasks, ensuring hygiene standards are met, and helping with food preparation when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Washing dishes, utensils, pots, and pans
- Keeping kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas clean and sanitized
- Assisting with basic food preparation (e. g., peeling vegetables, chopping
- Taking out rubbish and managing waste disposal
- Unloading deliveries and storing ingredients properly
- Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards (e. g., HACCP)
- Supporting chefs and other kitchen staff as required
Requirements & Skills
