The predicted salary is between 40000 - 50000 Β£ per year.

We are seeking an experienced Stock Condition Surveyor to join our Housing Team on a temporary basis for an initial period of approximately four months. This role will play a key part in supporting our asset management programme and helping us achieve our target of 90% stock condition surveys completed by September across our housing stock, with a particular focus on properties less than five years old. This is an excellent opportunity for a surveyor with housing sector experience to make an immediate impact within a busy and ambitious organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake stock condition surveys across our residential housing portfolio
  • Inspect properties less than five years old and accurately capture condition data
  • Assess building components and identify current and future maintenance requirements
  • Record survey findings using handheld devices and asset management systems
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, and compliance with organisational standards
  • Support the Asset Management team with reporting and programme delivery
  • Liaise professionally with residents and internal stakeholders to arrange and complete surveys efficiently.

About you

  • Experience undertaking stock condition surveys within social housing, residential property, or a similar environment
  • Knowledge of building construction, defects diagnosis, and property maintenance
  • Experience collecting and managing asset data
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a high-volume survey programme
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
