Trade Counter Assistant – Hydraulic Technician Apprenticeship\\nCRP Group are currently working with a nationwide engineering organisation that is seeking to recruit a well organised, well-motivated individual who wishes to begin a career in the hydraulic industry. The role of Trade Counter Assistant:\\nJob Specification\\n• To assist in the smooth running of the depot and undertake work duties instructed by the centre manager\\n• Maintain the highest levels of health and safety practice including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment where applicable\\n• Day to day assistance of the trade counter: Maintaining sufficient stock levels as per depot stock list. Ensuring the depot is kept clean and tidy inside and outside.

Liaising with customers and colleagues in a professional manner\\n• To provide assistance to centre staff within the franchise when requested\\n• Effectively communicate technical information to engineering personnel\\nProgression\\nOur view of this role is to start a career path within the organisation. The progress will be determined by the application of the individual and rely on a few factors to progress when ready to a mobile technician position.\\n• Obtain sufficient technical knowledge and understanding of fluid power operations via the exposure to a varied customer base over a sustained period of time\\n• Successful completion of a residential training course in the midlands accredited to city and guilds standard\\n• Full UK driving licence
