Job Purpose

Are you passionate about giving children the best possible start in life? Croydon Family Hubs is looking for two enthusiastic and caring Early Years Assistants to join our growing team, working across the Family Hubs localities to make a real difference to families in our borough. You will be a friendly face in the Family Hubs, delivering a mix of universal drop-in sessions and targeted early years support for families with children aged 0–5 years. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will help create welcoming, inclusive spaces where every family feels seen and supported.

About You

  • Level 2 qualification in childcare, early years or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Genuine warmth and commitment to supporting vulnerable families and young children
  • Ability to work flexibly across different sites and adapt to varied session formats
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative, team oriented approach
  • Knowledge of safeguarding principles and a commitment to inclusive practice
