Under the Family Hubs and Best Start in Life programme, Croydon has transformed its approach to Early Intervention and is radically changing the way it works with children, young people and their families. We are supporting families to identify their strengths and needs, supporting them to improve outcomes, build resilience and develop their life chances. We continue to ensure that families receive the right help, at the right time, and in the right way in order to make a difference.

To do this, we are recruiting a Support and Interventions worker to deliver evidence-based parenting groups as well as offering one to one support, working with parents and carers across our three localities. As a Support and Interventions worker, you will be supporting parents and carers to identify and build on existing strengths, empowering families to make their own informed decisions and choices.

You will be working in partnership with a range of professionals and services, including Family Hubs, Social Care and Early help, Health and Education. The service will be delivered in families’ homes, Family Hubs and community settings across the borough.
