  • Role Description

The Reading Tutor is a part-time, hybrid role based in Croydon, with a mix of in-park sessions and preparation for sessions.

Day-to-day responsibilities include providing reading inspiration to children and young people using Park Box libraries, delivering structured reading interventions, and tailoring activities to different ages.

The tutor will plan and lead small-group sessions and adapt materials to meet individual needs.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess skills in Reading Intervention and Literacy
  • Candidates should possess skills in Tutoring
  • Candidates should possess strong Communication skills
  • Experience working with children and young people in educational or community settings is beneficial.
