We are seeking a skilled and motivated Workforce Intelligence Analyst to join our Workforce Intelligence team that sits within the wider People Services team. This role is a fixed-term appointment for 12 months with the potential to extend. You will contribute to the delivery and further development of a high‑quality service using your data manipulation and visualisation skills alongside your knowledge of NHS workforce systems. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your analytical skills within a busy NHS environment, supporting workforce planning, performance reporting and data‑driven decision‑making across the Trust.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse and report on complex workforce data using systems such as ESR and e‑rostering.
  • Produce accurate, timely and insightful workforce reports for managers and senior stakeholders.
  • Identify trends, risks and data quality issues and help drive improvements.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of interactive dashboards and self‑service reporting tools (e.g. Power BI).
  • Support workforce planning, statutory reporting and Freedom of Information requests.
  • Provide advice and guidance to colleagues on workforce metrics and data interpretation.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of workforce analytics and reporting.
  • Provide system support to users of ESR including manager self‑service.
