An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Multi Disciplinary Coordinator to join our Cancer Service Office.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively manage the patient pathway from referral to discharge, ensuring a smooth journey.
- Serve as the point‑of‑contact for all administrative issues related to patients’ pathway of care, working alongside consultants, cancer nurse specialties, and other Trust staff.
- Track the progress of cancer patients through care services (e.g., Radiology and Pathology) and core services (e.g., Health Records).
- Coordinate Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) meetings and provide administrative support, ensuring that relevant information is available to enable clinical decisions to be made and recorded according to evidence‑based protocols.
- Work closely with clinical teams to support care delivery.
