An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 MSK Children’s Physiotherapist to join our Children’s Physiotherapy team at Crystal Children’s Development Centre. This is a community-based role working with children and young people with musculoskeletal conditions. We work Monday to Friday with no evening or weekend working.
We will offer you support to develop into the role through regular clinical supervision and joint working, in-service training, away days, regular management supervision linked to appraisals and identifying learning/training needs with opportunities for Continued Professional Development.
We are ideally located in the south of London, with excellent links to central London (15-20 min to Victoria and London Bridge train stations) but also the countryside including Box Hill. With so many activities, events and places to go, you’ll be able to strike the work/life balance you are looking for.
This role may also suit an experienced physiotherapist who is looking to start a career in paediatric physiotherapy or a physiotherapist looking to return to practice.
Responsibilities- Manage a varied paediatric caseload, providing assessment and treatment for children with musculoskeletal conditions.
- Work closely with families, carers, and multidisciplinary colleagues to develop individualised treatment plans.
- Support and supervise junior staff and students.
- Contribute to service development initiatives and ensure high standards of clinical practice.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with HCPC, CSP, and Trust governance standards.
- Strong communication skills to engage effectively with children, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to prioritise and manage workload in a busy community service.
- Effective collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
