Provide high quality information analysis, predictive modelling and capacity planning to support Directorate Recovery, and deliver analytics support to Transformation Boards. Deliver business analysis and information management services, engaging with clinicians, senior managers and colleagues across teams and organisations to interpret information and support decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of mechanisms to collate and use benchmarking information across the Directorate, identifying sources of variation and potential areas for performance improvement to ensure recovery in line with Elective Recovery.
- Provide specialist advice on the use of information and reporting tools, explaining relevant factors and any caveats to ensure full understanding.
- Support the Directorate in compiling performance, quality and operational reports.
- Act as the key link for the Directorate to deliver information supporting business planning.
- Perform highly complex analyses for the Directorate as required and communicate the results clearly and understandably to stakeholders of varying levels of knowledge.
- Adapt and design information systems, creating bespoke reports across different platforms for Directorate analysis.
- Build close working relationships with operational and clinical directorate staff and develop detailed knowledge of the analytical requirements of the directorate.
- Act as a source of expertise in the field of health information.
- Undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required from time to time, consistent with the responsibility and scale of the post.
