As a Healthcare Support Worker – Higher Level, you will be at the heart of patient care, supporting people through some of their most vulnerable moments.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care including assistance with toileting, mobility, and mealtimes.
  • Record vital observations such as temperature, pulse, and respiration.
  • Deliver compassionate care and support patients' recovery and wellbeing.

Areas of Work & Shift Patterns

  • Emergency Department: 08:00 – 20:30 / 20:00 – 08:30
  • Operating Theatres: First 6 months (Mon–Fri): 08:00 – 17:00 / 09:00 – 19:00; after 6 months, rotation across long day shifts and night shifts across 7 days a week
  • Clinical Wards: 07:30 – 20:00 / 19:30 – 08:00
  • Induction: First 2 weeks: Mon–Fri 08:00 – 16:00 (non‐flexible)
