Income and SLR Finance Manager
Full Time, Permanent, Band 7
The Income & SLR Finance Manager serves as a lead financial specialist within the Business Services team, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of healthcare income as well as supporting quarterly SLR roll out. The role involves supporting the Assistant Director of Finance in accurately reporting healthcare income, and ensuring SLAM submissions are done on a monthly basis. The post-holder will be provided with adequate training to use the SLAM system should this be required.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Income Reporting
- Prepare the Trust’s monthly income position in accordance with the agreed timetable, ensuring the general ledger reflects that position including month-end close, journal entries (accruals, budgets), variance analysis, and income invoicing.
- Service Level Agreement Monitoring (SLAM) Data Management and Submission
- Ensure accurate input of activity data into the Trust’s SLAM database, applying relevant business rules and adjustments to ensure the Trust’s income position is correct for internal reporting in line with the monthly timetable.
- SLR and Costing
- Assist and support the production of internal reports for SLR and PLICS for operational and clinical managers. Support and deliver appropriately-targeted presentation material to promote awareness of SLR and PLICS throughout the organisation.
