Through these assessments, formulate the client’s difficulties to determine the most appropriate intervention.
- Deliver high‑quality, effective psychological treatment and/or management of a client’s psychological difficulties based on an appropriate conceptual framework and employing methods of proven efficacy across the full range of care settings.
- Make skilled evaluations and decisions about treatment options, taking into account theoretical and therapeutic models and highly complex factors concerning historical and developmental processes that have shaped the individual, always evaluating these models and factors within a biopsychosocial framework that includes the impacts of damage/illness on brain functioning.
