Clerical Officer, Children’s Speech and Language Therapy Service (SLT Admin) Full time, Permanent
Overview
An opportunity to join the Children’s Speech and Language Therapy service in Croydon. The post will be predominantly based at the Crystal Children's Development Centre in Croydon.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide dedicated day‑to‑day administrative and clerical support.
- Input accurate patient information onto databases and patient information systems (EMIS).
- Generate patient letters and reports.
- Book appointments.
- Answer telephone calls and respond to patient enquiries by phone and email.
- Support the department with other administrative duties as required.
- Maintain a calm yet proactive approach in a fast‑paced environment, managing multiple tasks while ensuring accuracy and quality.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience with databases and EMIS or similar systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
