Senior Pharmacy Technician Dispensary – Band 5

We are seeking a Senior Pharmacy Technician to support the dispensary manager and assistant with daily operations, workload organization, and staff supervision.

Qualifications: Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT)

Responsibilities:

• Line-manage staff and support dispensary processes to ensure the safe and efficient supply of medicines.
• Communicate effectively with Dispensary Manager, Assistant Dispensary Manager, pharmacists, patients, carers, and multidisciplinary team members to facilitate seamless patient care.
• Oversee the smooth operation of the dispensary, resolving issues in the absence of the assistant manager.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and assistants, ensuring delivery of patient-focused care.
• Support staff training and development, including participation in the Practice Supervisor training program.
• Assist in managing clinical trials and organize dispensary training sessions.
• Investigate stock discrepancies and contribute to standard operating procedures.
• Coordinate medicine supplies and manage organizational aspects of the dispensary.
