Reporting to the Patient Safety Lead, this post is part of the Patient Safety Team to support the delivery of the Trust’s Quality Strategy and vision for ‘Excellent Care for all’. The role ensures safe, effective and high quality services, ensuring patients, families, carers and visitors receive a positive experience.

Responsibilities include delivering day-to-day systems and processes to support patient safety across the Trust, providing staff with support and information to implement trust-wide systems, and promoting a culture that improves quality by enabling the delivery of high quality care.

The role also involves the effective identification of lessons and areas for improvement, promoting learning from data analysis and investigations, and using audit and evaluation cycles to seek assurance.

Croydon Health Services provides integrated NHS services to care for people at home, in schools, and health clinics across the borough as well as at Croydon University Hospital and Purley War Memorial Hospital. The Trust also offers extensive specialist services, including emergency care, 24/7 maternity services, and a children’s hospital at home.
