As part of Croydon Council’s ambitious transformation plans, it is now looking for a Strategic Pay Reward Lead to join its talented HR Division to ensure it delivers on its groundbreaking People and Cultural Transformation Strategy. In this pivotal role, you will lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive Pay and Reward Strategy for the Council, bringing fresh ideas and knowledge of current best practice. You will be responsible for creating innovative approaches to pay and reward that align with the Council’s vision and drive for organisational success.

As a senior HR professional, you will bring a deep understanding of business needs, offering strategic and business-led advice. You will have extensive experience in applying HR policies, job design, job evaluation, and managing pay and reward programmes within complex organisations. A thorough understanding of people strategies, workforce planning, and reward systems is essential to this role.
