Our Adult Social Care services support over 4000 residents at any one time with long-term support, and are committed to maximising their independence, and providing support as early as possible. We are currently refreshing our Adult Social Care and Health Strategy 2026-30 to achieve this, and have created these new roles to ensure delivery against our strategic priorities. This will include oversight of specific priorities, devising policy positions to tackle strategic issues, and leading partnerships to listen to residents and shape services.
This will be a challenging and exciting role, delivering with the backdrop of an evolving national landscape, and the need for partnership working within the council, with health partners, and the community, including the Voluntary, Community, and Faith Sector.
You will sit in the Adult Social Care and Health Directorate, reporting to the Head of Improvement. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys tackling complex problems, in a data and evidence-driven way, with a focus on solutions.
