Senior Communications and Communications Officer
Full Time (36 hours per week)

We’re looking for an experienced communications and engagement all-rounder to join our corporate communications team. As London’s largest borough we have a lot going on and lots of things our residents, businesses and partners need to know – this role is about doing just that.
From elections to regeneration, engagement to consultation, you’ll be skilled in creating content for a range of communications channels, from socials to print, and confident in media relations. You’ll have experience in tailoring your communications to reach diverse communities, and ready to suggest new ways to make an impact.
Reporting to the external communications and engagement manager, you’ll work closely with our colleagues across the organisation leading on planning, delivering and evaluating communications that support our corporate priorities. We’re looking for someone who is experienced in campaigns and marketing, and ready to work with our communities to encourage them to get them involved.
Internally, you’ll be working with colleagues at all levels of the organisation, from our officers on the frontline, to senior leaders and politicians. In addition, you’ll build and maintain strong links with a wide range of our partners, including community groups, contractors and other London boroughs.
