We are seeking a skilled and motivated Performance Officer to join our Adult Social Care Performance team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality performance insight that drives service improvement across the Council. You will support the monitoring of performance against local and national frameworks, helping services to identify areas of success and where improvements are needed. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation and with external partners, ensuring that data is accurate, meaningful and used effectively to support decision-making.

About You

We are looking for someone who is analytical, driven and passionate about using data to improve services.

  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large, complex datasets
  • Experience using Power BI or similar visualisation tools
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to produce meaningful insight
  • Ability to present data clearly using charts, reports and written summaries
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proven problem-solving ability and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Ability to build strong working relationships and strong communication skills to engage a range of stakeholders
