This is an exciting time to join the Spatial Planning, Growth Zone and Regeneration Service at Croydon Council. The post reports to the Head of Spatial Planning, Growth Zone and Regeneration, managing a team of Regeneration Managers and a Governance Project Manager.
The successful candidate will primarily manage the delivery of the Growth Zone Programme, including a diverse range of regeneration projects in Croydon Town Centre. The role includes working closely with colleagues across the Service and wider Council including development management, economic development and culture and draws in a range of other community and partner organisations.
Drawing from a diverse regeneration experience from cultural and economic renewal, to physical redevelopment (predominantly public realm), to building social capital in communities, you will deploy a holistic approach to regeneration, programme and project delivery. To be successful you will be a motivated self-starter with a strong track record of delivering results in the built environment.
