Croydon Council is looking for an experienced payroll administrator to join our in‑house payroll department. The Corporate monthly payroll covers 4,000 employees and the monthly pensioner payroll covers 9,500 pensioners.
Must be able to manage high volumes of work against deadlines.
Must have a deep understanding of payroll and regulations.
Will be continually developed and trained according to new legislation and compliance.
Demonstrate great Excel skills.
Strong pension knowledge.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Have a problem‑solving mindset, with a proactive and positive attitude.
We offer hybrid working.
30 days holiday per year.
We will not be offering sponsorship.
