Voluntary Role
Croydon Central Management Company (CCMC) is a Council-owned company. CCMC holds the headlease of the Common Estate at Queens Quarter, including the basement, plant rooms, landscaping and the estate-wide heating network. The Company is responsible for the repair, maintenance and overall management of these areas and systems.
As a shareholder, the Council is committed to ensuring strong governance, compliance and effective estate management performance. We are seeking individuals who can provide strategic leadership, sound judgement and collaborative working at board level.
The role requires an understanding of housing and/or estate management, risk awareness and the ability to provide constructive challenge and oversight. Experience in property, compliance, procurement, energy systems or company governance would be beneficial but not essential.
This is a voluntary role with an expected commitment of approximately two days per month, although additional time may be required depending on business needs. Full training and Director indemnity will be provided by the Council. This is an opportunity to gain valuable board-level experience while contributing to the strengthening and long-term stability of a Council-owned company.
