The role: Anti‑Social Behaviour Enforcement Officer.
Responsibilities
- Investigate reports of nuisance, harassment or anti‑social behaviour (ASB) referred by the Housing department and take appropriate enforcement action to prevent further escalation.
- Support residents and members of the public by directing them to the appropriate agencies for action on their complaints, including Housing Associations, Police and Legal representatives.
- Dealing effectively with members of the public, demonstrating excellent communication skills and a proven commitment to customer care.
- Maintain a good understanding of crime and ASB issues, with knowledge of relevant legislation.
- Take confident and timely action to secure an immediate impact on ASB situations.
- Build extensive liaison and partnership relationships with external and internal agencies.
- Utilise IT and ASB recording systems competently.
- Attend meetings across the Community Safety Team and assist with administrative duties, including minute taking.
- Work part‑time: two and a half days per week.
- Hold a full clean driving licence and access to a car to carry out duties.
