Salary range: Grade 1 £28,221 - £28,617 (pro rata for 7 hours).

Contract: Permanent x2

Hours of work: 7 hours per week - every Saturday

Location: Croydon. All roles will require staff to travel to any of Croydon’s Libraries.

About the Role

We are looking for people who have an interest in customer service and for working as part of a team. You will be delivering library services directly to our customers, supporting activities and events and assisting customers with accessing our digital offer. Promotion of all services to a wide range of customers is also a key part of the role.

You will need to be:

  • Interested in customer service with good communication skills
  • Enthusiastic in your approach to engagement with customers of all ages
  • Interested in libraries and serving Croydon’s diverse communities
  • A team worker
