Croydon Council are looking for people from all walks of life to become respite foster carers. Your role as a flexible respite carer is to provide care in your home to children and young people who are in full time fostering.
You will support full time foster carers or families to look after children during term time and school holidays and for periods up to 2 weeks.
You will go through the full assessment process which can take up to 6 months. You will attend a Fostering Skills course to prepare you for the role and we will pay a day rate depending on the age of the child/young person you are looking after.
