We are now seeking a Personal Development and Tutorial Programme Lead to take strategic responsibility for the design, delivery, and quality assurance of the College’s cross-campus tutorial and personal development programme. This is a unique opportunity for a qualified educator to lead a high-impact area that supports our students’ wellbeing, character development, and progression into successful futures.

Reporting to the Executive Director of Student Services, you will ensure a consistent, high-quality programme that supports learners across both Coulsdon and Croydon campuses. You\’ll drive innovation, embed statutory guidance, and ensure the tutorial experience is aspirational, inclusive, and student-centred.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Designing and coordinating a comprehensive tutorial and personal development programme aligned with college and national priorities.
  • Leading on the creation of high-quality resources and schemes of work to ensure engaging and impactful delivery.
  • Driving quality assurance processes through observations, data analysis and student feedback.
  • Building strong partnerships with external speakers, community agencies, and internal departments to enrich provision.
  • Supporting tutorial staff through training and mentoring to ensure high standards and consistency.
  • Championing student voice, using it to inform programme development and ensure our learners are heard.

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced teacher with:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (or equivalent)
  • At least 3 years’ experience in FE or a similar setting
  • A track record of developing or leading tutorial, PSHCE or personal development provision
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • A student-centred ethos and a commitment to inclusive education
  • Strong working knowledge of safeguarding and wellbeing

A background in working across multiple sites, with experience of leading enrichment, mentoring colleagues, and using data to drive improvement, would be advantageous.
