We are now seeking a Curriculum Team Manager – Creative Arts to lead and develop a dynamic curriculum area, ensuring outstanding teaching, learning and student outcomes.
The Role
- Provide strong leadership and management to the Creative Arts team, ensuring a high-quality learning experience for all students and driving continuous improvement across the curriculum.
- Lead and manage a team of teaching staff, including recruitment, appraisal and development.
- Drive high-quality teaching, learning and assessment across the curriculum.
- Monitor performance and use data to improve student outcomes.
- Manage staffing resources and ensure effective curriculum delivery.
- Lead on quality assurance, including internal verification and compliance.
- Support student recruitment, retention, achievement and progression.
- Promote positive student behaviour, welfare and personal development.
- Contribute to curriculum planning, innovation and growth.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the College to deliver strategic priorities.
About You
We are looking for an experienced and inspiring leader with a strong background in Creative Arts education and a passion for student success. You will have:
- A degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject.
- A recognised teaching qualification.
- Proven leadership and management experience within education.
- Extensive teaching experience within a Creative Arts discipline.
- Strong understanding of curriculum development and quality improvement.
- Experience of managing teams, performance and complex programmes.
- Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
- A commitment to equality, diversity, safeguarding, health & safety and data protection.
