Salary: Actual Salary £25,384.61, exclusive of holiday pay (FTE salary £33,000 per annum)
Hours: 35 hours per week, 40 weeks per year (0.77 FTE) (term time only)

We are seeking a Designated Teacher to join our Safeguarding and Wellbeing team, who will play a crucial role in ensuring our care experienced students thrive and reach their full potential. This role is instrumental in supporting some of our most vulnerable learners to access, engage with and succeed in their education, while working closely with internal teams and external agencies.
Our Safeguarding and Wellbeing team is a highly collaborative and supportive area of the college, dedicated to ensuring students are safe, well and supported in achieving excellent outcomes. Staff are empowered to lead, innovate and build strong partnerships, and benefit from a team culture that values inclusivity, ambition and professional development.
You will lead on transitions, ensure strong Personal Education Plan (PEP) processes, build meaningful partnerships with care charities and universities, and deliver training and enrichment opportunities for both students and staff. You’ll be a key link between students, curriculum teams, social workers, and wider college support services.
