We are seeking a highly motivated Workshop Technician to support our new Plumbing and PMO workshops.

This role is essential to ensure the provision of a safe, compliant, professional and effective learning environment for apprentices and students undertaking practical training and assessments.

The Technician will play a key role in supporting workshop operations, maintaining high-quality resources, equipment and materials, and ensuring that practical teaching spaces are fully prepared and operational.

The post will directly contribute to maximising assessment opportunities and enabling learners to successfully complete practical activities in line with requirements.

  • Ensures safe and compliant operation of the new Plumbing and PMO workshops.
  • Supports high-quality teaching, learning and assessment activities.
  • Maximises practical assessment opportunities for apprentices.
  • Maintains workshop resources, equipment and learning environments to a professional standard.
  • Enhances learner outcomes and experience through effective technical support.
  • Reduces operational and health and safety risks through dedicated oversight of workshop practices.
