The predicted salary is between 24000 - 28000 Β£ per year.

Salary: Β£26,914.02 per annum inclusive of Β£2,558 Outer London Allowance. 1FTE: 35 hours per week, 42 weeks per year, (Term-Time plus 2 weeks), Permanent.

We are seeking a Lead Science Technician to contribute to the delivery of our successful Science Programmes at Coulsdon College.

Responsibilities

  • Support the practical and technical aspects of the science curriculum by preparing, providing, maintaining, organising, and managing resources for healthy, safe and engaging practical activities carried out by staff and students.
  • A candidate with suitable experience can be appointed as a senior Technician who will enable proper administration of science departments and line management of their technician colleagues, including training and performance management.

Qualifications

  • Experience of working as a biology technician within a science department.
  • Level 3 qualification within a relevant subject.
  • Strong working knowledge of Biology; good working knowledge of Chemistry and Physics.
  • Ability to support a range of subjects on both the A Level and BTEC curriculum (desirable).
