The College is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and skilled Mathematics teacher to deliver GCSE and A Level Mathematics within a Sixth Form environment. The successful candidate will work collaboratively within the Faculty to support high‑quality teaching and learning, contribute to cross‑curricular activity, and promote positive student outcomes in line with the ethos and values of Coulsdon Sixth Form College.
You will be committed to supporting learners aged 16–19, contributing to curriculum development, assessment and monitoring of student progress, and engaging fully in Faculty and College activities, including examinations, educational visits and student guidance. The role requires effective teamwork, strong communication skills, and a commitment to safeguarding, equality of opportunity and continuous professional development.
Qualifications: Applicants must hold a degree in Mathematics (or a degree in which Mathematics forms a significant part), or a Level 5 Subject Specialism Diploma with relevant teaching experience. A recognised teaching qualification is required, or a clear willingness to achieve one. You must have the ability and willingness to teach GCSE and A Level Mathematics, with flexibility to offer a second subject such as Science if required. Strong interpersonal, organisational and IT skills are essential, along with a proven or developing track record of effective teaching and a commitment to high academic standards.
