Provide a sensitive, customer orientated Passenger Assistant service to Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Provide safe, secure, timely, reliable support suitable for the transport of vulnerable Service Users.
- Supervising Service Users in transit and being responsible for their welfare until handed over to parents/guardians/carers or school/play centre/facility staff.
- Controlling the behaviour of Service Users on the vehicles and ensuring that, as far as possible, the driver is not distracted from his duties.
- Attending to Service Users if the driver leaves the vehicle.
- Dealing effectively with problems which may arise, such as aggressive behaviour and/or epileptic fits.
