Job Description We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team.

The Chef de Partie is responsible for managing a designated section of the kitchen, ensuring the preparation, cooking, and presentation of high-quality dishes that meet the hotel's standards.
Working as part of the kitchen brigade, the Chef de Partie will maintain excellent food quality, support junior team members, and ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present food to the highest quality and presentation standards.
- Take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of a designated kitchen section.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared in accordance with recipes, portion controls, and service standards.
- Assist the Sous Chef and Head Chef with menu preparation, daily specials, and food production.
- Monitor stock levels within your section and report ordering requirements.
- Ensure correct storage, labelling, and rotation of food in line with food safety procedures.
- Minimise food waste through effective stock control and portion management.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, HACCP, health and safety, and company policies.
- Supervise, support, and mentor Demi Chef de Parties, Commis Chefs, and Kitchen Porters within your section.
- Assist with the training and development of junior kitchen team members.
- Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen brigade to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Report equipment faults, maintenance issues, and health and safety concerns promptly.

- Previous experience as a Commis Chef or Demi Chef de Partie in a hotel, restaurant, or similar hospitality environment.
- A passion for producing high-quality food and delivering excellent guest experiences.
- Good knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
- Understanding of food hygiene and HACCP procedures.
- Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
