We can offer you this opportunity in the role of Front Office Supervisor at the Crowne Plaza London Ealing. You will be responsible for assisting in the overall running of the Front Office, ensuring an efficient and effective operation, and striving for 100% customer satisfaction.

The role involves working within our busy Front Office environment, ensuring our guests receive the highest level of service. The Front Office Supervisor role will include:

  • Providing a warm welcome to all guests on their arrival and assisting them in a courteous, helpful manner.
  • Ensuring all accounting and billing procedures as laid down by Hotel management are adhered to at all times.
  • Liaising with the Housekeeping department concerning room availability.
  • Dealing with any customer comments in a polite and pleasant manner, resolving complaints wherever possible.
  • Answering the Hotel switchboard in a polite and courteous manner using the standard greeting as set by the Hotel.
  • Ensuring all inquiries are forwarded to the relevant department.
  • Forwarding all potential leads to the Sales Manager and supporting the Sales Office in maximizing occupancy.
  • Dealing with book outs professionally and efficiently according to company and Crowne Plaza standards.
  • Maintaining security over Hotel property and monies as well as anything deposited at Reception by Hotel guests.
  • Being fully aware of hotel cash handling and credit procedures and ensuring all staff strictly adhere to them.
  • Monitoring all guest accounts and ensuring charges are posted correctly with supporting documentation.
  • Assisting customers by offering help with luggage, providing information and booking services where necessary.
  • Actively encouraging customers to join the Hotels guest reward program and ensuring points are allocated accurately.
  • Ensuring Guest Comment Cards are completed and compiled.
  • Having a comprehensive knowledge of the reservations system and taking reservations as per the company standard during times when the reservations office is closed, ensuring all necessary information is taken and recorded accurately.
  • Ensuring a handover is carried out between shifts, including Reservations in the handover.
  • Assisting the Front Office Manager to train new team members.
  • Covering Duty Manager shifts.

The ideal candidate should have at least one year experience working in a similar position. Knowledge of Opera would be an advantage. This role will also involve covering Duty Manager shifts.

The 139 tastefully decorated bedrooms offer deluxe accommodation and some have views of the imposing arch of Wembley Stadium, which is next to Wembley Arena and the Wembley Designer Outlet. The hotel is also close to the iconic Ace Café, Park Royal and only four tube stops from Westfield Shopping Centre at Shepherds Bush. Access to Hanger Lane tube station on the Central Line is directly opposite the hotel and takes you to Central London (Oxford Circus) in approximately 26 minutes and directly through to Stratford in approximately 49 minutes.
