Responsibilities
- Clean and tidy guest rooms to established standards, including changing bed linens, replacing towels, emptying trash bins and restocking amenities.
- Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, and clean mirrors for a neat appearance.
- Sanitize surfaces thoroughly for hygiene maintenance.
- Maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies and toiletries.
- Promptly report any maintenance issues or damages.
- Follow supervisor instructions and adhere to safety protocols.
- Ensure the security of guest rooms and the privacy of the guests.
- Provide professional and respectful service to guests, and respond to their requests promptly.
Person Specification
- Preferred: Experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, particularly in housekeeping or room attendant positions.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
- Strong time‑management skills, attention to detail, and flexibility.
- Willingness to learn and a "can‑do" attitude.
- Adaptability to organisational needs, prioritisation, and multi‑tasking ability.
