Complete inspections and safety checks according to industry standards and regulations. Perform day-to-day servicing, repairs, and maintenance of forklift trucks, handling equipment, and plant. Conduct fault finding and repairs to meet first-fix targets. Source parts from internal or external suppliers. Communicate efficiently to minimize downtime and meet repair targets. Follow company procedures and health and safety regulations. Seek opportunities for personal and team development. Perform other duties as reasonably requested by management.

Applicants should have knowledge of at least one of the following areas and be willing to undergo additional training:

  • Mechanical engineering
  • Electrical engineering

Must have the ability to work independently and in a team, possess good communication skills, work to high standards, and meet deadlines.

Person Specification

  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Proficient in fault finding and repair.
  • GCSE grade C or above in English and maths.
  • Experience with health & safety requirements in workshop practice.
  • Commitment to ongoing personal and professional development.
  • Organized, resourceful, and solution-oriented.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday – 8 hours per day with 30 minutes for lunch.
