The role involves working to a planned schedule of service and maintenance jobs at our client’s premises, monitoring van stock, and ensuring safety of trucks through inspections. Responsibilities include completing job sheets, timesheets, purchase requisitions, and managing equipment and tooling. Candidates should have knowledge in mechanical or electrical engineering, and be willing to undertake additional training. Key skills include independent and team work, good communication, high standards, and ability to meet deadlines. Person Specification: Full UK Driving Licence Proficient in fault finding and repair GCSE Grade C in English and Maths Experience with Health & Safety in workshop practice Organizational skills, resourcefulness, and solution-driven attitude Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to multi-task and prioritize Effective communication skills Flexibility and resilience Positive attitude Experience in forklift truck service (preferred but not essential) Working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30, with a 30-minute lunch break.
