About the Role
The Management Supervisor (MS) will ensure maximum quality levels are maintained, support with customer queries and investigations, and input on sales and tender requests for pricing, information, site visits, and technical support. The MS will flag performance issues early and offer supportive, constructive feedback while creating a secure, positive, engaging, and efficient work environment.

What You’ll Do
- The MS is the operational guardian setting the example ensuring the highest standards of moves and services are practised as everyday activities.
- The MS is responsible for assisting in the direction and support of the crews operating out of our Cardiff depot.
- The MS will assist the branch/regional manager in the safe, legal, and efficient operation of the vehicle fleet.
- Delivery of H&S activities and improvement of safety: toolbox talks, assist with site safety concerns, report near misses and accidents, ensuring PPE compliance.
- Keep moving schedules running smoothly and manage on-site staff work allocations.
- Ensure accurate and complete documentation regarding RAMS, customer sign off, waste documentation, building and goods damage.
- Conduct accident investigations and review risks as requested or necessity dictates.
- Monitor and report quality, compliance, and developmental training has been completed by all teams.
What We’re Looking For
- You must have a full clean driving licence as a minimum to apply.
- Work closely with customer/project management representatives regarding access, security, and working hours.
- Keep operations updated about delays, absences, or anything that could affect the operations.
- Assist in compliance with DVSA, Traffic Commissioner, and Operator Licensing requirements.
- Assist in managing vehicle maintenance schedules, inspections, MOTs, and defect reporting.
- Monitor drivers’ hours, tachographs, and Working Time Directive compliance.
- Support as the Transport Manager acting as a second for the Operator’s Licence (O-Licence).
- Maintain accurate driver records and compliance.
- Reviewing and briefing infringements using Samsara, Vision, and Continuum software as required.
- Communicating with the branch/regional manager to assist with the day-to-day operations and planning.
