About the Role
AtCrown Fine Art, we specialise in the safe handling, transportation, and installation of priceless artworks. As a part of the team, you’ll be part of a team that works behind the scenes to ensure every masterpiece is treated with the respect and precision it deserves.
This is a hands-on role ideal for individuals from a fine art operational backgrounds such as logistics, or warehousing.
The core responsibilities of the role will be to ensure that Fine Art Technicians are supervised so that art works are handled to company standards and safety procedures are observed.
The provision of a high standard of service is of paramount importance to this role. Creating long-term relationships with both Public and Private Institutions requires high standards of service that encourage our clients to seek deeper relationships with us, in line with our CORE strategy.
What You’ll Do
- Team Leadership and Oversight: Supervise warehouse technicians, ensuring proper handling, packing, and storage of fine art according to industry standards.
- Operational Coordination: Manage daily warehouse operations, including scheduling, workflow prioritization, and resource allocation to meet client and project deadlines.
- Inventory and Documentation Management: Oversee accurate inventory tracking, condition reporting, and database updates for all artworks in storage.
- Quality Control and Compliance: Ensure all procedures comply with museum-grade standards for art handling, climate control, and safety regulations.
- Client and Logistics Liaison: Act as a point of contact for internal teams and external clients, coordinating shipments, installations, and special handling requests.
- Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and support to warehouse staff, promoting best practices and continuous improvement in fine art logistics.
