We are looking to recruit a permanent Teaching Assistant with effect from 14th September 2026.
Crown Wood Primary School has an exciting opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our existing team on a full-time, permanent basis. We are looking for versatile professionals who are able and willing to work across the whole primary setting.
Role details:
- 1x Teaching Assistant (initially in KS2)
- 31.25 hours per week – 8.30am to 3.15pm with a 30‑minute unpaid lunch break (term time only)
- Grade: K‑J, Scale Points: 3‑6
- The post will include lunchtime support and is subject to all relevant checks, reference, and a successful probation period; initially offered on a fixed‑term basis.
We are looking for someone who:
- May have ambitions to qualify as a teacher in the future.
- Has good levels of literacy and numeracy.
- Possesses relevant qualifications and/or experience of working with children.
- Is keen to learn.
- Is flexible, resilient and resourceful.
