About the Role We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistants to join our team within a residential care home setting. You will play a vital role in supporting residents with their daily needs while promoting independence, dignity, choice and overall wellbeing. Key Responsibilities Assist residents with personal care, including washing, dressing and toileting Support residents with mobility and daily living activities Assist with meals and feeding where required Monitor and record residents’ health and wellbeing Provide emotional support and companionship Maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment Follow individual care plans and support residents in line with their assessed needs Report any changes, concerns or risks to senior staff Adhere to safeguarding, health and safety, infection control and other relevant policies and procedures Maintain accurate and professional care records Requirements Applicants must have: Previous experience in a care or support role A caring, patient and respectful approach Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends Basic literacy and numeracy skills Willingness to undertake ongoing training and development A valid DBS or willingness to complete the required DBS process Up-to-date All-in-One Mandatory Training, which must include the required practical elements Practical Manual Handling training Practical Basic Life Support training What We Offer Competitive pay rates Supportive team environment Flexible working hours 24/7 on-call support Opportunities to work within residential care settings How to Apply If you are passionate about providing high-quality care and making a positive difference in people’s lives, we would love to hear from you.
