The Role
As a Sustainability Practitioner, you’ll help your organisation make a positive impact on society and the environment. You’ll assist in creating and delivering sustainability plans, campaigns, and projects that reflect the company’s values and goals. You’ll work under the guidance of an experienced Sustainability Consultant, gaining hands-on experience while studying towards a Level 4 qualification.
What you will do:
- Support the implementation of the organisation’s CR&S strategy.
- Support the delivery of social impact projects or campaigns.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to support the promotion responsible business practices.
- Conduct research on sustainability trends and risks.
- Assist with data collection, analysis, and reporting on CR&S performance.
- Contribute to internal and external communications, including sustainability reports.
- Help ensure compliance with relevant environmental and social regulations.
- Champion ethical and inclusive practices across the organisation.
The Sustainability Practitioner Apprenticeship Programme will provide you with the skills to support and engage within different parts of the business. This apprenticeship is designed to help you develop the essential skills required for a successful career in Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability. During the course, you’ll gain hands-on experience in supporting various projects. You’ll also learn how to communicate effectively and work professionally in a fast-paced business setting.

Entry requirement for access to this apprenticeship:
- 16 or Over
- Living in the UK
- Not in full time education
- Good Literacy and numeracy skills
- 5 x GCSE’s
Applicants without level 1 functional skills, equivalent to a GCSE 2 or 3, will be considered and if successful will be supported by their training provider to gain it during the course. They will also work towards a level 2 in English and Maths, equivalent to a GCSE pass 4
