The Fine Art Removals Operative Level 2 Apprenticeship is a fixed-term position offering a starting salary of £17,000per annum.

The Role
The role of Fine Art Removals Operative is responsible for helping businesses move their belongings from one location to another. This role is physically demanding and often involves working as part of a team.
What you will do:
- Packing and unpackingitems safely and efficiently.
- Loading and unloadingfurniture, boxes, and equipment onto and off removal vans.
- Disassembling and reassemblingfurniture when necessary.
- Drivingremoval vehicles (if licensed).
- Ensuring items are protectedduring transit using blankets, straps, and padding.
- Following health and safetyprocedures to prevent injury or damage.
- Providing excellent customer service, including answering questions and handling items with care.
Our Removals Operative programme will provide you with the skills to support and engage within different parts of the organisation. This apprenticeship can help you develop the necessary skills required for a career in Fine Art Removals. During this course, you\’ll learn to different types of removals and to communicate and negotiate in a professional business environment. The flexibility and responsiveness required allows you to develop a wide range of skills. You will spend time one of Workspace or Fine Art Business’ and we will provide extensive training, guidance and support, as well as the opportunity to experience the industry from the inside and gain valuable work experience.

Entry requirement for access to this apprenticeship:

Applicants without level 1 functional skills, equivalent to a GCSE 2 or 3, will be considered and if successful will be supported by their training provider to gain it during the course. They will also work towards a level 2 in English and Maths, equivalent to a GCSE pass 4
