About the Role
Crown Workspace is a specialist division within Crown Worldwide Group focused on the management, relocation, and transformation of workplace environments. Through tailored solutions, you will work to ensure businesses experience minimal disruption during moves and enjoy productive, well-organised workspaces. The Bid Manager will play a critical leadership role in shaping Crown Workspace’s growth pipeline across Office Moves & Changes, Design & Build, Fit-Out, Furniture Solutions, Renew Centre, and major workplace transformation projects. We are seeking a highly capable and commercially astute Bid Manager to lead the end-to-end management, coordination, and delivery of high-quality tender submissions and business development documentation across all service lines. This is a pivotal role within the business, responsible for driving winning bid strategies, ensuring consistency and quality of submissions, and embedding a structured, process-driven approach aligned with the Tender Bid Process and the Post Tender De-Brief.
What You’ll Do
- Ensure all deliverables are client-focused, compliant, compelling, and aligned to evaluation criteria.
- Take full ownership of PQQs, ITTs, Framework submissions and RFP responses from qualification through to submission.
- Lead bid planning, governance and coordination in line with the structured 9-stage tender process.
- Translate client requirements, win themes and commercial strategy into high-impact, persuasive submissions.
- Lead the development of executive summaries, value propositions and differentiators aligned to client scoring models.
- Operate within the defined RACI framework, ensuring clear accountability and timely delivery across all stages.
- Drive adherence to governance, compliance, and internal review disciplines.
- Review contractual terms and ensure early engagement with Legal and Commercial leads.
- Identify risks, assumptions, dependencies and exclusions within all submissions.
- Track and analyse bid performance metrics in collaboration with the Sales Analyst.
- Ensure all supporting documentation (certifications, policies, case studies) is accurate and up to date.
- Lead and coordinate Step 10 – Post-Tender Debrief & Lessons Learned Review as an extension of the tender process.
- Ensure a structured debrief is completed for every tender outcome.
- Engage with consultants and key stakeholders to position Crown Workspace early within opportunities.
- Support new business and framework tracking activity.
- Manage and support the Bid Team.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in Bid Management / Proposal Management within a complex, multi-service environment.
- Strong understanding of formal tender processes, frameworks, and PQQ/RFP delivery.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality, persuasive content.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple concurrent bids and tight deadlines.
- Strong stakeholder management and coordination capability.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and document production.
- Experience leading or coordinating structured bid review processes.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and compliance.
- Collaborative team player with the confidence to challenge and influence.
- Proactive, resilient and able to operate in a fast-paced bid environment.
