About the role
As a Senior Crown Prosecutor specialising in RASSO, you work on a wide variety of sensitive and complex offences. Your responsibilities include:
- Providing early investigative advice to the police
- Authorising charges
- Developing effective case strategies for trial
- Presenting cases in court
You work closely with the police, counsel and other criminal justice partners to ensure cases are progressed to the highest standard.
About you
We’re looking for qualified barristers and solicitors with a commitment to public service, making a difference to the communities we serve and our Crown Prosecution Service values. You must have experience in criminal law, and managing complex, sensitive cases. Previous experience in RASSO casework is desirable but not required as full training is provided.
