About the role

As a Specialist Prosecutor within the Counter Terrorism Division, you are responsible for reviewing cases, making charging decisions and where appropriate prosecuting cases, in relation to matters relating to national security. You advise on and prepare cases for prosecution, maintaining a personal caseload of complex criminal cases. You also conduct advocacy in the Magistrates Court and, if appropriately qualified, preliminary hearings in the Crown Court.

About you

We're looking for qualified practising lawyers holding a valid Practising Certificate for England and Wales with experience of the Criminal Justice System, prosecuting or defending, including dealing with complex disclosure issues. You must be able to conduct court advocacy in the magistrates’ court and ideally preliminary hearings in the Crown Court.
