About the Crown Prosecution Service: At the Crown Prosecution Service, we are responsible for delivering justice through the independent and effective prosecution of crime. As the principal prosecuting authority across England and Wales, the nature and diversity of cases we advise on and prosecute means our work is often emotionally challenging and complex. About the role: As a Senior Financial Analyst, you are responsible for delivering accurate management and financial information for the head of management reporting and chief finance officer. You produce the monthly management information for the corporate management report and external reporting to HM Treasury, reviewing resources, budget data, providing cost analysis and financial data. You provide direct leadership, support and line management to two finance managers.
About you: We’re looking for someone with strong financial capability, combined with excellent analytical skills. Experience developing financial models and accurate forecasts is essential. You must hold Level 4 qualification with AAT, CCAB or CIMA, and be working towards Level 7 qualification with CCAB or CIMA or willing to work towards this within 6 months of being in post.
