Are you an experienced litigation lawyer looking for the next step in your career? The Crown Prosecution Service is recruiting Specialist Prosecutors to join our Proceeds of Crime Division.

About the Crown Prosecution Service: At the Crown Prosecution Service, we are responsible for delivering justice through the independent and effective prosecution of crime. As the principal prosecuting authority across England and Wales, we employ over 7,000 people who think objectively, act professionally, show the upmost respect for others and continually strive for excellence.

About the role: As a Specialist Prosecutor you are responsible for asset recovery litigation on the most complex and sensitive cases within the Proceeds of Crime Division. You provide legal and practical advice to police officers and financial investigators with regard to money laundering investigations and prosecutions, restraint, confiscation, and enforcement. You support advocates in all asset recovery hearings by drafting the appropriate applications, legal arguments, and other documentation in support of those hearings.

About you: We're looking for qualified barristers and solicitors with post-qualification experience of complex casework with strong analytical, legal and strategic ability. You must be able to demonstrate a high level of oral and written communication skills in regard to legal complexities and decisions. Experience in all aspects of proceeds of crime work is desirable but not required.
